Volcano Hummingbird, Prong-billed Barbet, Yellow-thighed
Finch...
IN THE CENTER: is
the Canal Zone (,Madden Lake, Summit Ponds,
and the famous Pipeline Road). This
region offers one of the most accessible tropical
forests in the world due to its relative proximity
to urban centers as a result of very good road
network: Yellow-green
Tyrannulet, Great Jacamar, Blue Cotinga, Lance-tailed
Manakin...
The swampy area of the Tocumen Marsh near
to the airport as well as the Metropolitan Park
can also be very productive.

The Darien is the wildest part of the country
and is situated near the Colombian border. A
superb zone of tropical forest within a 500
000 has park, which supports numerous regional
endemics: Pirre Warbler,Green
